Where is Natural AF Made?

Natural AF is a family owned business. We live and produce our range of products in small batches in Hervey Bay, Queensland. We also offer local pick-up from here.

 ​

How does Natural AF stay 100% natural?

We work hard finding ways to create the products you love using all natural ingredients. We test how our ingredients interact with each other, how they behave when stored and whether the natural preservation system used is adequate, including shelf-life.

We only source 100% natural ingredients from reputable Australian suppliers and bring them together beautifully. Having completed an internationally accredited Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation, we understand how to create safe products that do what they're supposed to! Product Storage & Shelf-Life

We recommend that you store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Products can be stored in the fridge, however this may cause certain products like balms to become hard and difficult to use. Most of our formulas have a 9 month shelf-life after opening.

Processing & Postage Times​

Usually received within 7 days based on express postage. We keep a small quantity of products ready-made and ready to send immediately, however sometimes due to the nature of our products and because our products are handmade fresh, we may require 1-3 days to produce your order and dispatch it from our studio. We send post through Australia Post, with options for regular or Express post which will usually take between 1-5 business days depending on your postage selection.

Are Essential Oils Okay For Kids?

Most essential oils are not created to be put directly undiluted onto the skin, either adults, kids or babies. We understand dermal limits and sensitizers of essential oils and formulate accordingly. We have lots of essential-oil-free options for babies and kids with known allergies, however these are uncommon. The total quantity of essential oil, if present at all in our Baby Range is kept under 0.1% - because we know baby skin is much more sensitive than ours.

Do You Have Something For My Child's Itchy Skin Condition?

Yes we do - that's what got us started in the first place! Our daughter suffered from severe itchy skin that would distract her from everything! Try our Day & Night Skincare System - or either of the products on their own will help improve dry, itchy, irritated and red skin in all ages! How Do I Sign Up for a Workshop?

We are starting our very first round of DIY natural skincare workshops in February 2022 in Childers, Queensland. Each workshop is 2 hours in length and will be run each Saturday of the month. Enrol to one or all of these events by visiting the 'Workshop Bookings' tab in the menu, fill in your details, make your payment (Afterpay accepted) and get excited to attend our very first round of workshops!

Do You Accept Returns?

Due to the handmade-to-order nature of our super fresh products,, we are unable to accept returns simply for a change of mind. If there are any concerns with the products in your order, please get in contact with us and we will do our best to resolve these to your satisfaction.

Do You Offer Free Local Pick Up?

Yes! If you're located in Childers or Hervey Bay, we can arrange free local pick-up. It takes between 3-7 days for us to make your products and prepare your order for collection. 

 

How Does Natural AF Give Back to Communities?

To us, supporting local organizations who are trying to make a difference is the least we can do for a community who supports us! We've donated gift sets to scouts, domestic violence organizations and many more. These gift sets have been raffled off to raise money for causes that make a difference, and we're continuing every year to offer our support.

What's the Meaning of Natural?

Natural is a broadly interpreted term which has no regulation around it's use in the cosmetic industry. When companies using harsh chemicals are putting "naturals" on their product labelling, because they threw in 1-2% of a naturally derived extract. We're calling bullshit on this and when we say natural, we mean NATURAL - it originated from an organic source, it was not extracted using chemical solvents, and it's not been mixed with anything else of synthetic origin!
