How does Natural AF stay 100% natural?

I work hard finding ways to create the products you love using all natural ingredients. I test how the ingredients interact with each other, how they behave when stored and whether the natural preservation system used is adequate, including shelf-life.

I only source 100% natural ingredients from reputable Australian suppliers and bring them together beautifully. Having completed an internationally-accredited Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation, I understand how to create safe products that do what they're supposed to! Check out the ingredients page for more information about the ingredients that are used here at Natural AF.

Product Storage & Shelf-Life

It is recommended that you store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Products can be stored in the fridge, however this may cause certain products like balms to become hard and difficult to use. Most of our formulas have an 9 month shelf-life after opening.

Processing & Postage Times

Usually received within 7 days based on express postage. We keep a small quantity of products ready-made and ready to send immediately, however sometimes due to the nature of our products and because our products are handmade fresh, we may require 1-3 days to produce items for your order and dispatch it from the studio. All parcels are sent through Australia Post, with options for regular or Express post which will usually take between 1-5 business days depending on your postage selection.

Are Essential Oils Okay For Kids?

Most essential oils are not created to be put directly undiluted onto the skin, either adults, kids or babies. I understand dermal limits and sensitizers of essential oils and formulate accordingly. It is always recommended to patch test new products, as everyone reacts differently.

Do You Have Something For My Child's Dry, Itchy Skin Condition?

Yes I do! My daughter suffered from severe itchy skin that would distract her from everything! The Everyday Body Butter was created for my daughter and is the balm that started it all. This product can be used for almost any skin concern, get in touch if you'd like any further advice, and don't forget to check out our guide to managing dry itchy skin conditions available in your email inbox upon subscribing as a Natural AF member!

Do You Accept Returns?

Due to the handmade nature of our super fresh products,, we are unable to accept returns simply for a change of mind. If there are any concerns with the products in your order, please get in contact with us and we will do our best to resolve these to your satisfaction.

Do You Offer Free Local Pick Up?

Yes! If you're located in Hervey Bay, we can arrange free local pick-up. It takes up to 5 days for us to make your products and prepare your order for collection. It's usually much sooner than this however, sometimes same-day collection!

How Does Natural AF Give Back to Communities?

To us, supporting local organizations who are trying to make a difference is the least we can do for a community who supports us! We've donated gift sets to scouts, domestic violence organizations and many more. These gift sets have been raffled off to raise money for causes that make a difference, and we're continuing every year to offer our support.

What's the Meaning of Natural?

Natural is a broadly interpreted term which has no regulation around it's use in the cosmetic industry. When companies using harsh chemicals are putting "naturals" on their product labelling, because they threw in 1-2% of a naturally derived extract. We're calling bullshit on this and when we say natural, we mean the whole product is made from natural ingredients and naturally derived components.
